Spirit of Joy is a Stephen Ministry Congregation
Making Jesus Known… through Caring Relationships,
Since July 16, 2003, we have been enrolled as part of Stephen Ministry. We currently have 13 trained Stephen Ministers and 5 trained Stephen Leaders, serving people in and around our congregation. This important extension of pastoral care offers listening, Christian care to those in crises, large and small, short-term and long-term, from life-changing events to simply the need to talk through something on one’s mind. This ministry belongs to all of us here at Spirit of Joy and is supported in our budget, in our prayers, and in our actions. It is part of who we are and how we are.
