QUILT BLITZ DAY! On the fourth Thursday of each month, from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m., we meet in the Fellowship Hall to layer, tie and bind quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Everyone is welcome even if you don't know how to take a stitch. There are plenty of tasks to go around and we will even provide instruction. A delicious soup lunch is provided by John Altringer. Come and join in!

We can also use a few supplies:
1. Fabric at least 13 inches square (no religious, flag, or military patterns please) in washed cotton, cotton blends, corduroy or flannel.  (To be used in making the quilt tops.)
 2. Flat sheets in twin, full, queen, or king size.  Fitted sheets full size or larger.  (To use as backing for the quilts.)
3. Crochet thread for tying the quilts.
4. Cash donations to purchase quilt batting. For $88.56 we can purchase enough batting for approximately 25 quilts.
